RyanNagy1 Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 I have not seen anyone else post something about this here, but it also may be painfully obvious and covered multiple places on this forum... Sorry in advance... I recently got my first UNRAID server up and running, and I created a new share, and am wanting to copy things over from my outgoing Synology DS. In the process, the first few items I copied via SMB share on Windows changed all the file names to fully lowercase of folders/files/etc. Looking for a solution so that all of my stuff does not turn to lowercase... I am sure it is a setting, but I am a computer engineer who programs and does nothing networking/server related and am trying to get this set up in my spare time. Thank you in advance! itimpi Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Not sure this is at all obvious as I have never heard of this happening before so will be interested if the root cause is pinned down. It might be worth posting your system's diagnostics to see if we can see anything unusual in your configuration./setup. Quote Link to comment
