[SOLVED] Issue with Sickbeard and modified date on folders

Featured Replies

Greetings,

My Plex Media Server (which runs from a Mac Mini) is not picking up new content since I moved my media and Sickbeard instance over to unRAID. I've noticed that Season folders have an older modified date than the newest episodes in those directories. Has anyone else run into this?

I've enabled the "Update Plex" option and it does successfully send the command and start the scan on the PMS server that sits on my Mac Mini. However, it still doesn't pick up the shows.

I'm looking at enabling NFS and mounting my shares that way on the Mac Mini instead of SMB.

Enabled NFS and Season folders still aren't showing correct modified date after remounting them on my Mac Mini. Back to the drawing board.

This doesn't appear to be a Sickbeard or Sabnzbd problem. No matter what OS I use if I manually copy a file into a directory on my unRAID it does not update the date modified stamp of any folders.

However, if I modify the filename of any file in the same directory it updates the date modified of said directory.

Update: Enabling the cache disk for the shares appears to have resolved the issue now. Not sure why having the cache drive disabled for some shares would cause this behavior but enabling it has resolved the issue.
