You'll need to check SuperMicro and G.Skill's tested memory lists to see if this RAM will work for that board. If it isn't on either list, then I wouldn't try it. Link to comment

I wasn't going to fuss about my HTPC as it ran fine, though with 4GB more than it has now.. shoot, looking forward to the shipment. 8GB in the Unraid may sound like overkill also (more so perhaps especially since I don't use Sab or any of that on the server), but.. $25 pfft.
