statecowboy Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Had a fairly new (I think it's maybe a year or so old) drive throw an error. Before I go about replacing it, I was hoping someone with more experience in drive errors could lend some advice. Thanks someflix-unraid-smart-20240411-0930.zip Quote
JorgeB Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 SMART looks fine, if you didn't reboot yet, post the diagnostics. Quote

JorgeB Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Disk was already disabled at boot, so we can't see what happened, but most like a power/connection issue, replace/swap cables with a different disk to rule that out and re-sync parity. 1 Quote
itimpi Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 You can also do an extended SMART test on the drive to test its health - passing normally means the drive is OK. 1 Quote
