Server Lockup

Featured Replies

My server has been having intermittent issues where the gui and ssh will become no longer accessible until I reboot the server.  I received a notification that it froze at around 11ish today 4/17.  I set up a remote sys log server and attached the results.  Could someone provide me some guidance on what may be happening or how I can troubleshoot this?  I don't see anything in the logs that stick out to me.

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, this usually points to a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.

P.S. I see that you have CoreFreq installed, would recommend removing that one first and re-testing, since it has been known to crash some servers.

In the Log there is no evidence linked to CoreFreq but I would suggest you plug a monitor on your server VGA and post that screen photo when server becomes stuck.
