May 5, 20242 yr Hi together When I add a new share to my 6TB ZFS pool the "minimum free space" value ist automatically set to 572.1 GB. Can someone tell ma how this value is being calculated and if its safe to change it to a lower value? Thanks!

I think it defaults to something like 10% of the largest disk in the share until you set an explicit non-zero value. The normal recommendation is that it should be set to something like twice the size of the largest file you expect to copy to the share.
