Added new cache nvme let parity build

I moved all data off my nvme onto array then added two new nvme as cache drives, ran new config and all started fine. So machine just started to rebuild parity should I let it run or cancel

If you used New Config then you should let the parity sync complete unless you are absolutely certain that parity is already valid.

Thanks I’m sure parity is valid as it just completed at the start of the month, but I just let it start and run, as a newbie I have to trust unraid knows better than me.

In normal running there should not be a need to use the New Config tool.  Therefore when you use the New Config tool where you can easily make changes that will break parity so for safety reasons Unraid assumes you have made such a change.   The user is allowed to over-ride this behaviour but should not do so unless there is a good reason to do so.
