Multiple Cache Pool Question & Docker

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am planning to extend my cache (1 TB SSD) with a 2nd drive (4 GB SSD). I do not need redundancy. Now I see I could go with reformatting my two drives by creating a new pool in single mode or I can setup a second cache pool.

If I setup a second cache pool, can I put/assign selective docker app data (such as nextcloud data) to the second cache pool or does it need to be on the same cache drive pool with docker app data?

Best wishes,

If the current pool is btrfs you don't need to format to use single with both devices.

You can use different appdata locations for containers, they are set in the container when adding, but it will preselect the default appdata, you can then change
