June 1, 20242 yr Hi all, Looking for some guidence on how to deal with a disabled drive. Drive was disabled at 5:40am this morning, however smart data seems fine. I've ran a short smart test which came through without issues (attached). Currently running an extended test. I've attached the logs however I can see read/write errors just as the device is disabled. Looking for a bit of guidence on what I can do to verify that this drive is okay. June 1, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution It's not logged as a disk error and SMART looks OK, check/replace/swap cables to rule that out, and if the emulated disk is still mounting, you can rebuild on top.
