I have been using unRAID 4.7 since July, and everything has been smooth.  No issues whatsoever.

I am using ATV2 with XBMC to stream content from the unRAID server, but I recently purchased a second ATV2, and would like a way to synchronize libraries on each device.

From what I have read, PLEX on unRAID with PleXBMC would give me what I need.  The only issue is that in order to run PLEX on unRAID, I would have to install one of the beta releases.

Would anyone be able to recommend which beta version I should upgrade to?  If any?

Thanks in advance.

Plex will work. Search the User Applications forum. mysql can be installed using unmenu and XBMC can use the central database.

Also interested in OPs question as to what beta version seems stable

Seems to depend on your hardware, especially which controller card(s) you might have.

I'm on 4.7 right now but also testing out the Betas.

From what I've read and been told, if you have a LSI card, might want to stay away from 13 & 14

I'm currently shaking out 11 myself.

I've tried the mySQL central database before, but I found it sluggish and slow.  I was hoping Plex would be as efficient as I have now with one library on ATV2.

I was more interested in hearing about which beta version has been the most stable.

Here's the plex info:http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=14446.0

The most stable version depends on your hardware. Read the announcements threads.

Looks like I will stick with 4.7.  Unless it's buried deep, I don't see much about hardware issues in any of the announcement threads, at least not in the OP or release notes.  I'm assuming it's not obvious and made by posters who have had issues with certain versions.

I'm also on beta 11.  Have LSI card and 3T drives.

I have a pretty basic setup.  Running Intel Core i3 2100 on a ASUS P8H67-M LX MB.  No controller cards.  Just 4 drives at the moment.

You might be able to use 5b14 then.

As a precaution, you might want to read thru the b14 thread for any issues folks have encountered so that you are aware before hand.

The issues with the betas appear with particular SATA cards and NFS. If you have no cards and don't use NFS then you should not have no problem with the beta.
