mbb100
My cache drive is full, even after running the mover. I've even stopped the docker and VM Manager before running the mover. Diagnostics attached, and thank you in advance for your help. tower-diagnostics-20240616-2054.zip Quote Link to comment
itimpi
The way you have things configured there is nothing for mover to do. The 'appdata', 'domains', 'isos', and 'system' share are all on the cache. Ideally you want these (except perhaps the 'isos' share) to be there to maximise performance of docker containers and VMs. If moving the 'isos' share off the cache does not free up enough space then you will have to set another share to be moved to the array or use a larger cache drive. In addition you should set a sensible value for the Minimum Free Space (which is currently set to 0) for the cache pool to tell Unraid when to start bypassing the cache pool to avoid it getting very full as that can cause issues as well. mbb100
thank you for the feedback. I'm running what I think is a very simple system compaired to others... I just use it as a media server and backup system for my home PCs. The iso directory is currently empty... I realize that my 250gb cache drive is on the smaller side, but I've never had this issue before. Total "moved" cache disk use was always less than, say 30gb... Can you tell if any program or directory now has a large file of garbage in it. Also... for the first time ever, I got a warning that the SSD temperature was high. (SSD!). Is there a program that is writing unwanted data to it. My only recent change was updating to 6.12.10... Quote Link to comment

No, you will have to do this from your end as this sort of information is not present in the diagnostics. Easy enough to do if you have the Dynamix File Manager installed to allow you to browse your drives. Quote Link to comment
mbb100
OK, I've figured out my Krusader problem (trash vs delete), and used it to delete its trash files... The plex directory has 74gb of data in binhex-plex/Plex Media Server/Media/localhost Is that all metadata? Is there a good way to lessen this, and still have a good Plex experience?
