April 2, 200818 yr Did anyone else have problems receiving their registration key after ordering? The site says 24-48 hrs but its now been 5 days and I didn't receive anything besides the bill and a charge on my CC. I tried emailing sales 3 days ago and didn't get an answer yet. I also tried leaving a message to tom on these forums and he hasn't replied yet either. There's most probably a good reason but I hate being in the dark and not getting answers
April 2, 200818 yr It's never nice to wait, but don't worry too much, Tom is sometimes busy, but he has very good commercial practices.
April 3, 200818 yr Author I knew something was amiss... it would seem my ISP was blocking tom's emails. Now, everything's fine and I now run an upgraded server.
April 3, 200818 yr Do you have any more info about this? There have been a handful of customers who have reported a similar problem & I'm wondering if it's perhaps due to our recent move to a new host provider.
April 4, 200818 yr Could be a lot of things. Your ip could be on a blacklist. If it's just your ip, you can go about getting it off the blacklist. Could be a whole range of ips, good luck with that. Or it could just be that your rdns hasn't been setup correctly. When you do an nslookup on your domain, it returns an ip. You should be able to do an nslookup on that ip and get your domain. Here's what I get: 223.74.251.206.in-addr.arpa name = 206-251-74-223.static.hosted.sta.webnx.com. You want that to return lime-technology.com, or mail.lime-technology.com, or basically just any domain that your box would reply to. I would hazard a guess that AOL is one of the isps that is giving you problem with blocked/returned mail?
April 7, 200818 yr Author Well I seem to have problems with that email recently... just today I tried sending something to my cousin and he never got it. Could by my ISP or my email forwarder I'm using... anywayz, worked fine with my other email. if you want to know, my email server is mail.videotron.ca and forwarder is mail.com
