Replacing ZFS pool drives, "Wrong pool state", "Missing Cache disk"

I recently upgraded to 6.12.11, and after the server restarted, 2 of my 8 drives failed. I'm running raid-z2 so I *should* be OK but not taking any chances.

I shut the system down, replaced both drives, and precleared them.

When I assign the new drives, they both say "Wrong".

When I try to start the array, I get "Wrong Pool State. pool - too many wrong or missing devices"

I went looking for an answer and I keep seeing "unassign the new drives, start the array, stop the array, reassign the drives". When I tried that, it says "Missing Cache disk", but as you can see in the screenshot, the cache disk is there.

Not sure what my next move is while it's in this precarious state, so defaulting to "nothing".
