drive striping?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have 2 wd red drives I'd like to strip together for performance.

The drives would be for downloads only so nothing needs to be protected.

I am on the latest UR beta.

Can I do this in a pool and what is the best option for large downloads please?

Thanks

They are very similar for this case, btrfs may have slight better performance, so probably that one, unless you are using different size disks, in that case use zfs since it can fully use both with a stripe.

Many thanks for your help JorgeB :)
