Guest
Hello, I'm using v5.0-beta14. My System is not able to Power Off. I Stop the Array, then select the 'Yes I want' and then 'Power off' The Screen changes to 'normal' Power Off Screen, but that's all. Even after more then 10 Minutes, the System ist still on, I can Ping it and also reach the UnMenu Page. The 'normal' UnRaid Interface is set to the Poer Off Page. I also tryed the Powerdown User Script nothing. If I Power the Systen hard off, it behaves after a Restart just as nothing had happend, or better as every thing would have been performed normaly. Any Ideas? dgaschk
Attach a syslog collected after you try to shutdown. Does the WebGUI show any status info at the bottom after you hit shutdown? Quote Link to comment
Guest
I'd love to do so.... When I tryed the first time, the System went down as it should. I just got the normal System is going to shut down screen, right after I klicked the shutdown Button. So I wanted to try it again and this time the system got frozen at once. No power down Page, no telnet, no nothing..... ...now I'm watching a Parity Check..... Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
See here for options to capture the syslog: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9880.0 Quote Link to comment
krisha
I had this issue also twice. webGUI was just showing 'powering of system...'. Log in locally and force a shutdown with "shutdown -h now" Parity check did not occur for me. PS: I have completly different hardware, but I used the physical power button w/o stopping the array first. Quote Link to comment
