August 25, 20241 yr I removed 5x8TB SAS disks from my array, and started a new config without parity, replacing those disks with 3x20TB and 2x16TB disks. The new config started up perfectly, no issues there, but now when I attempt to mount the 8TB disks under UD, it fails. Upon doing FS Check, it says they are corrupted. BUT THIS IS 20 MINS AFTER THEY WERE JUST IN THE ARRAY. It makes no sense. Any advise? maverick-syslog-20240825-2039.zip
August 26, 20241 yr Author Do you mean the “run with correct flag” option? I did that it still did not work unfortunately.
August 26, 20241 yr Community Expert Sorry, missed the text above the error, is the disk connected to the same controller? And nothing else changed?
August 26, 20241 yr Author Correct the same enclosures are being used as when it was the original array, and the new array. The disks have always been in the same JBODs connected to the same hba. Granted it’s a 9206-16e which has two controllers I believe so could that have caused the issue?

August 26, 20241 yr Community Expert Solution Yep, the disk is 4Kn, it will only mount on the array, if you don't want to add it back to the current array, you can mount it with a different server running an Unraid trial key.

Is there no way to retrieve the data from these disks without adding them to a different array? My original intention was to transfer from these disks to the new ones in the array so trying to determine the best way now of doing that since i cant mount them under UD.
