None of my User Shares are accessible over the network

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I had set up six User Shares and had them all working on Friday. I transfered all of my files over, into those Shares, and everything was golden. Now, after the server sat for a couple days this weekend, I'm not able to access the Shares from my Windows 7 machine. I can access the tower through IE and navigate the file system through unMENU as well as telnet into the tower. I have since restarted my Windows box as well as the unRAID server to no avail. I'm running v4.7.

Thanks for the help!

This is what I am seeing from the Windows box:

Can you connect to the management GUI? Restart the server and the PC.

I am having conflicts due to being VPN'd into my work network. I just disconnected from my work network and now all the Shares show up.

Is there a way to have them behave together?

This is more of a quick-fix than an actual solution, but from the Run prompt, can you just type in "\\tower\disk1" and have it work?

Maybe just create some shortcuts on your desktop?

I actually mapped my unRAID volumes to drive letters on my Windows box, because I am basically porting an existing local disk array to the NAS, and this will keep things running smoothly until I find the time to work out something better.
