September 14, 20241 yr I'm upgrading my 2 parity, and use my old parity for drive. This is what I'm going to do plesse can you check if it correct. 1. Unbalance 2 smaller drive and move all the files to other drive. 2. Take pictures of drive position. 3. Remove 2 smaller drive. 4. Add 2 new parity drive. 5. New config 6. Set 2 old parity to the array, and set 2 new drive as parity. 7. Clear the old parity drive? 8. Start the array.
September 14, 20241 yr Community Expert If I'm understating correctly what you want to do, that should work, and no need to clear the old parity drive.
