September 16, 20241 yr I have a WD Gold that is 2 years old, has a few years warranty remaining and I started getting warnings last week (reallocated sectors, pending sectors, offline sectors). SMART tests were showing read errors, so I removed the drive from the array and rebuilt the array and its back running again now. Given the many warnings, I then pre-cleared the WD Gold drive and it now seems to be passing SMART tests, but shows the following in the SMART report: 196 Reallocated_Event_Count x800 197 Current_Pending_Sector x40 198 Offline_Uncorrectable x60 Am I correct in assuming this is on its last legs and needs to be sent back to WD under warranty?
