GA-M68SM-S2L gigabyte board doesn't like booting from USB

Recommended Posts

I've recently tried to boot UNRAID on this board - no luck with every conceivable combination of bios settings. The Kingston USB drive is recognised as a storage device by the M/B but won't boot. Same flash drive in my other ASUS board boots. It appears in the ASUS board as a hard drive, but not the Gigabyte board. Any ideas?

Thanks for replying - yes, tried all the usual fixes - spent hours on this board and it really doesn't liike booting from a flash drive, it'll give, at best, a "boot error" Think I'll give it away and try another board.......(The board does boot from hard drive, windows, by the way)
