My player (wdlive) can't connect to unraid

Featured Replies

Hi,

i am running this configuration for over two years with no issues. Tonight I got "The network share can not be accessed" message from my player. Access via PC is fine either via unRaid or mapped drives. Youtube and other plugins are wotking fine too. Just not able to connect to my share drives. Nothing was changed or added recently. Tried so far:

1. tried with other player - same thing

2. rebooted - no luck

3. powered off - luck

Any pointers? The log is attached....

Thank you.

If you can still access the shares via a computer, it sounds more like a network problem or an issue with the WDLive.  Have you recently made any changes to your environment?

Well, no changes made anywhere....

However, after around two hours everything went back to normal, like nothing happened. Dont know if still working but will findout when I get home tonight. Strange....

I was hoping that someone can the read log file and pinpoint the root cause....btw I am on 4.7

Thank you

Likely nothing to do with unraid if you have not changed anything. My Live players do that from time to time and occasionally need a full unplug for 30+  sec then boot to fix.

Are you using network cable or usb wifi on the live player?
