October 24, 20241 yr Suddenly I cannot reach webUI or any of my docker containers. SSH seems to be working. Updated yesterday to beta4 from beta2, I think. I am able to generate diagnostics, but dunno how to download them via SSH to my Mac. tower-diagnostics-20241024-1635.zip Edited October 24, 20241 yr by Dronepwn
October 24, 20241 yr Community Expert in ssh terminal type diagnostic will make a diag file on the usb drive then type dmesg to see the sys log to check last feww errors in log... I highly recommend a reboot. webui tools diagnostic as this will have the syslog of the previous boot... Otherwise you may need to rc restart emhttp and or nginx to bring back the webui.
October 24, 20241 yr Author Solution Wanna know what happened? (I must say I am in IT for almost 20 years now..) Browser cache and cookies acting up on me! My engineer profile got so much into "there's gotta be a problem" that it was simpler than I thought. I am up and running!
October 25, 20241 yr Community Expert I hear you. about 2 months or so ago there was a Safari update that changed browser settings and how cashed data was handled... I'm currently Working IT for a university help desk. I get a log of call with clients having apple issues. I have found that apple recently did an update and changed how Safari and other web browsers that use apple's webkit browsers on Apple device handle chased websites(third party apps/browsers/appstore/other http tcp irc calls...). Even if data was cleared in a third party browser like chrome, this would not fix web access unless clearing website data in Safari was done as well. ATM For Univerity of Illinois, this is also now required... Experts even say that one should clear the browser data every now and again. About 3-6 months. https://answers.uillinois.edu/illinois/page.php?id=115654
