October 25, 20241 yr Only thing you might want to look out for when you get the system is if the HBA-card has the latest firmware, which you can download from this page. Since the last version is from this year, it probably isn't installed on the server yet. It also has a pretty weird motherboard, you can get the manual, BIOS and BMC-firmware from this page. The system itself has a page too which is here which has links to the manual and some of the same files too. The backplane has a manual too which should be this one.
October 26, 20241 yr I wouldnt recommend this system... 1000 bucks for a 24 bay encloser? IMO... walk away from this... find a 24 bay encloser that has the drive caddies(200ish usd) and a 1u server(100-200usd depending on what you need) add in a SAS card 100 bucks... and you are off to the races at half the cost... that thing is way over priced... my 10 cents
