Exetremely slow docker pull

Featured Replies

For quite some time now a docker pull is painfully slow on my Unraid machine.

I looked at

 and

already but that seems to be good for me if I understand it correctly.

Any ideas on what I can test?

Does recreating the image improve things?

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello,

I'm running unRaid for a month now (today my trial will expire and I will purchase a new one). At the beginning I tested 2 containers and the pull speed was normal. After that I started migrating more dockers from previous server and I noticed that pull is extremly slow. My internet connection is 1Gbps/500Mbps..but pull is taking for at least a minute to two or three for 100 MB size.

Then when pull is done, verify, extract, stop, create, run docker is at normal speed..just pull is so slow and I dont know what it could be.

Can I test or verify anything in logs?

Hi,

now the pulling (downloading) speed seems normal again. I just need to wait for like a minute on first step of update process where it says - for example:

Pulling image: lscr.io/linuxserver/radarr:latest

Please wait......... here it stops for a minute or so...then after that is normal speed.
