Python help with sickbeard

Featured Replies

I use MediaBrowser on my htpc and still use StarkCovers(for whoever knows what that is).

It basically makes movie art prettier, replacing the folder.jpg with a folder.png. This worked fine when I used a separate program to look for the art, as I could tell it to look for folder.png, then folder.jpg, and if none were found to download the correct one. Sickbeard doesn't do this, so when it doesn't find the folder.jpg, it downloads it, which is then used as default by Mediabrowser. This forces me to find the file and delete it(which works until sickbeard downloads it again.)

Can someone look at the sickbeard metadata.py or whichever part is needed to add a condition to look for folder.png as well before downloading the folder.jpg? I've looked at it, and am pretty sure I know what part to replace, but I'm not sure what to write!

My idea is to add a line to the go script to overwrite the offending .py with my modified version at boot.
