November 12, 20241 yr Stumbled upon https://github.com/stl88083365/unraid-nvidia-vgpu-driver instructions: https://www.lxg2016.com/55831.html looks promising. not sure if we can get a way to install a vgpu.run file on unraid to get vgpu driver support. I'm used to running dkms, mdevetl, and doing overrides on kvm in debain/proxmox... Would be nice to get something simalr working and stable. usualy folwoing this guide: https://gitlab.com/polloloco/vgpu-proxmox Redit: Regarding open source vgpu support. *as ICH777 nvidia driver has a opensurce driver install option... Anyone else try this and have a working stable instance of vgpu on unraid? My issues is finding and fixing missing libs / mutable OS where i may need to reboot to have driver installed... ?May need to dig into and test for a side plugin... December 4, 20241 yr Author alot going on in the nvidia vgpu space... moved to existing vgpu project with proxmox and VM virtualize unraid... as i'm not experienced enoth with unraid plugin system to try and make a nvidia run install for vgpu driver install... that and i don't want to maintain or support it / bring additional driver headaches...
