Xfs_repair needed over and over again

Featured Replies

I have a strange issue; Disk5 keeps getting lost.
1) Docker container start to get unresponsive

2) I check via SFTP client in /mnt/disks where all disks are there - Disk5 is missing.

3) I start up the array in maintenance mode, double xfs_repair -L

4) Stop and start up normally - everything's back to working well.

This has happened at least 4 times now, over the course of a couple of weeks.

I probably need to replace that drive; it doesn't show any signs of SMART errors though. I'm afraid that if the drive get reconstructed via parity, the same xfs corruption might be written onto the new drive as well.

Any suggestions how this should be handled?

You might begin by attaching your Diagnostics file to your NEXT post.  That file will give the Gurus information about what is happening on your system.
