Cannot create new User Share

Featured Replies

Hey; I was following along to AlienTech42's Appdata Backup Tutorial, but despite following him exactly whilst creating a new share it does not show in the User Shares tab after creating. I've attempted multiple times and reset the server etc but still nothing.

Does anyone have idea why a new share might not show?

Is it safe to share the entire downloaded diagnostics folder here? Or do you just need certain txt files from within?

Note is a single zip file - not a folder.    Normally all of it is wanted as it is difficult to product in advance exactly which files are wanted,

In principle the contents are largely anonymised.   The contents are all text files so you can check for yourself if you are happy to share.

Thank you! I'm fine sharing. Here it is.

There is this in the syslog:

Nov 20 22:30:06 unraid emhttpd: error: shfs_mk_share, 6455: No space left on device (28): ioctl: /backups

Make sure when trying to setup the share you specify a value for Minimum Free Space that is less than you have available on one of your drives.    I think it now defaults to 10% and your drives are all over 90% full.

Ahh amazing, that fixed it! I didn't realise it defaulted to 10%. I really appreciate you looking into that for me. Thank you!
