Unraid will not boot

Featured Replies

Hi I am brand new to Unraid and I need help.  My system is:

i7 4th generation ( repurposed computer)

4 X 4 TB drive

32G memory

My GPU : NVIDIA Quadro FX 580

I created a bootable USB stick and then plugged it in my computer and rebooted.

Unraid starts booting and then hangs at the message:

i915 0000:00:02.0 enabling device (0006-->0007)

What can i do to get past it,

I have tried another GPU card : GEFORCE GTX 760 and the same issue.

Please help

Thanks in advance

? to use g cards sometimes a driver is needed and 3rd party applications installed for its use. installed from the Community app store in the web ui on latest stable OS.

Due to teh G-cards age, for nvidia you may need to install the older driver:

select v470 update and downlaod and then reboot unraid.

The problem i am facing i cannot even boot Unraid. Do i  have to remove the GPU card, boot Unraid and then install the driver like  you suggested. I am really new to this.

Where is the monitor connected to? If there are multiple GPUs, the output may switch to a different one during boot.
