I tried asking this on Reddit and got crickets, I hope for better help here via the forum.

 

If I go to Settings/Display Settings/Dynamix color theme: I have noticed that if I change the "color" the menu changes from top to left. How do I fix this so that it doesn't keep flipping, or better is there a better plug-in for this that will keep through reboots and upgrades??

 

 

If this has been fixed / resolved else where please send me that link. All I have seen so far is creating a local non-surviving CSS file.

Are you using a browser extension?

are you using the theme engine plugin?

As I don't experience this. Try clearing your browsers data and try another browser after applying the change.

No to browser plug-ins, does the same in Safari and Chrome. UnRAID is v6.12.14. 

I reinstalled the theme and now in setting I see that I have "Theme Engine" and I can use that to change the color and look and feel and the menu doesn't swap back and forth. If however I use the "Settings/Display Settings/Dynamix color theme:" and change it there the theme selection DOES affect the layout of the menu.

Is this resolved in v7.0.0??

you picked a theme with a color, not just a color.

Azur and Grey are completely different themes to the "default" white and black

Thank you and to bmartin, yes *I THOUGHT* I was selecting a color not a theme. Using martinis plug-in I have changed the color to a theme now.

 

What threw me off was the label "Dynamix color theme" where I ASSUMED that it was just changing the color, so a better label might have just been "Dynamix theme" since it does change a lot more than just color.
