January 14, 20251 yr Hi I recently found couple of xxx.cfg in `/boot/config/shares` that are from my previously deleted (from GUI) Shares. Is it safe to delete them from this folder as well? (It's not causing any functional issues AFAIK, but I'd like to keep it clean)

I stumbled on it by looking at the latest version's CA Mover Tuner's logs. Maybe worth adding this check to Fix Common Problems plugin

Maybe worth adding this check to Fix Common Problems plugin Problem is that it is not actually wrong - more of a housekeeping issue. Adding it to FCP is likely to worry people into thinking they have a problem when they do not.

I’m curious, (and I have backups) what would happen if I delete a existing share’s cfg while array is up and system is running? Is it immediately catastrophic?

Would just expect it to be recreated once Unraid noticed but with default settings (which may well not be what you want).
January 15, 20251 yr Community Expert You can also use the "Clean Up" button, it will delete the cfg for any shares that don't exist on the array or pools:

Although My Clean Up is greyed out. Why? Do I need to stop the array or something? Edited January 15, 20251 yr by StylishQuoter
