I am trying to move folders from a share to another location but keep getting

rsync: [receiver] mkstemp "/mnt/user/Backup/ACERLaptop/Users/Bal/Pictures/2015/2015-05-03/.1T4A0442.JPG.hSFKO3" failed: No space left on device (28)

Do you understand how the Minimum Free Space setting works?

Your screenshot shows you need to have 845GB free on a drive before it will be considered as a target for the move.   Do you have this much free on any drive?    Have you tried lowering the Minimum Free Space value for the drive?    I suspect the value showing has been auto-generated rather than explicitly set by you.

You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach your system’s diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread. It is always a good idea when asking questions to supply your diagnostics so we can see details of your system, how you have things configured, and the current syslog.

Nope, didnt understand how it worked, to be fair I have never noticed it. Most of my shares are 5+ years old... I have over 7TB free on my array and all disks have well over 200gb of free space. But I see your point now, that it is setto 845.8 GB for some reason.

I have now set it to 25GB and assuming that should work :)

Will remember to post diagnostics next time too 👍

The default used to be 0, but that quite frequently lead to issues, so in one of the recent Unraid releases the behaviour was changed so that now defaults to value that (I think) is based on size of largest disk in the share.
