February 9, 20251 yr All, I have been looking for some automation that can backup data from the Unraid NAS to an external HDD Some say they use duplicati. Some say they don’t like duplicati and prefer rsync or reclone. Can someone share the script(s) they might be using to achieve such automation as when an external drive is connected, backup data from the storage array into the external HDD? There are many posts that mention these options but ultimately lack the script. Without the script, those posts don’t offer much help! thanks!
February 9, 20251 yr Community Expert Working with External drives is why Unassigned Devices plugin exists. There are examples in its Support thread.
