February 16, 20251 yr Community Expert If it was correctly created, you just need to select it as the first boot device.
February 16, 20251 yr Author have run admin rights on flash bootable file, entered into the BIOS and selected usb as first boot. when and when pc exists it doesnt do much and starts in normal start up screen. have spent hours on this and can not get it to boot. Am i missing something? I am running in on a Lenovo PC if that helps.
February 16, 20251 yr Community Expert If you are booting UEFI you don't even need to run make_bootable, but try using RUFUS to format the flash drive, it can help sometimes: - Open Rufus and change "Boot selection" to "Freedos" - Set the "Volume label" to UNRAID - set filesytem to FAT32 - click START - once done, unpack the Unraid ZIP to the flash drive If you are booting UEFI nothing else you need to do, if you are booting legacy/CSM, run the make_bootable.bat as administrator first.
