What are the chances that this is a problem with the controller or backplane? These 2 drives were normal the last scrub. Now SDQ1 and SDR1 are giving CKSUM errors. Seems odd that 2 drives are having an issue with no prior problems with scrubs.

 

*All data is backed up on another server plus remote colo.

    Syslog is being spammed with Samba related errors, but for checksum errors first thing to try is a different SATA cable or slot
