Does Unraid Tailscale auto renew HTTPS certificate?

Featured Replies

Does the Unraid Tailscale HTTPS certificate generated by using the docker template serve setting get automatically renewed or do we have to manually do this before it expires?

It just works as if you are using it on a local machine, so it should automatically renew the certificate if it renews it on a regular dedicated machine, maybe you have to restart the container but I'm not too sure about that.

Update the post if possible, but I assume it updates the certificate automatically.

Ok I will keep an eye on it then when it comes up time for renewal.   Do you know what happens when Tailscale comes out with an update? Will it show up as an update needed like normal dockers do under unraid or will we have to manually update Tailscale?

Thank you.

You will see the update in the Tailscale pop up window, to update Tailscale you would need to force an update from the container itself.

I did force the docker update as Tailscale had a newer version out and it updated the container just fine.

Thank you for assistance.
