Array spin up randomly

Featured Replies

Hello,

My problem is that the disks randomly spin up and then spin down after a while. There is no information about these times in the file activation so the problem is not of this nature.
Where can I start to find the source of the problem?

double check your disk settings.

as you may have it set to delay causing spin ups and downs.

mivel lehet, hogy késleltetésre van beállítva, ami pörgést okoz.

Hello,

It is set to spin down the disks after a certain amount of time. The problem is that they spin up randomly.

when the disk are spun down. they will spin up due to needed disk activity. this could be caused by dockers and the use of database for a docker service to run.

Install the “File Activity” plugin. It will show you which files are being accessed which might give you some insight to what thing is waking up your drives.
