March 27, 20251 yr Hi, I just noted "cache disk full" in syslog even though my cache disk still has >500 GB free. Any idea? I have not seen any other warning signs in the GUI e.g. Regards JP

March 27, 20251 yr Community Expert If the previous answer is not enough then you are likely to get more informed feedback if you attach your system's diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread. It is always a good idea to do this to allow us to see the current state of your system and so we can see logs.

It was set to 599GB which might correspond to the warning message I have noticed. Silly me. Forgot about that setting. I adjusted it to roughly 80% of disk size!
April 11, 20251 yr Community Expert Yeah I for SSD cache drives I typically set it to 20% free space (200GB for a 1TB drive) More important for Copy-on-write filesystems like BTRFS and ZFS Edited April 11, 20251 yr by MowMdown
