Permissions on my shares seemingly continuously change or get updated preventing me from reading/writing from Windows.

I have 2 ZFS pools that I'm sharing, and pretty much all the time it seems I have to go to Tools > New Permissions and set everything to default/new, for both disks and shares, otherwise when I am trying to copy, create, and otherwise move stuff around from Windows, I always get "you need permission from host\root to make these changes". If I go New Permissions and reset everything, I can manipulate files without a problem, for a while.

It's mostly an issue when I am trying to move stuff between folders under my docker directory, copy/move/restore backups/saves/configs from dedicated servers for games, or say if I am copying videos over to test Handbrake/Jellyfin playback. It's been annoying me for a while and now I just want it to stop. I never really had this problem until I moved away from using UNRAID as an HDD platform and began using it only for SSDs with ZFS, which is fine, but this issue is causing me annoyances. Maybe there is something going on behind the scenes that I just need to be aware of?

If you are wondering how things work on the Unraid side of Samba, I wrote this a while back:

Now this supposes that you also log into Unraid using the credentials of a 'Share Access' user.  If you are using a Docker container, it has to be done using the PUID, GUID of a valid Share Access user (this would include those for 'nobody'--- which many Containers configured for Unraid use) and a UMASK of 000.   I am not an expert on Docker containers and there may be some containers that required special settings within them to work properly with Unraid.   Hopefully, those Docker containers that have a Support thread on the Unraid Forum are already configured correctly.  If you are having problems with a container, you can ask about your issue in that thread.
