Unable to Access Local IP Unraid Console or Dockers After Mobo Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I upgraded the Motherboard, CPU and ram of my unraid server yesterday and it seems to mostly be working well, however I can't seem to access any of my docker containers via local IP. Nor can I access the unraid server itself via local IP. The only way I can access containers is through the internet facing reverse proxy. I can only access the unraid console itself through unraid connect.

I'm not sure if changing NICs by changing the motherboard is the issue or what, but would appreciate some guidance here rather than continuing to blindly try things.

Diagnostics attached.

You are not using the default ports, are you trying to connect to these?

Ahhh good catch, I think I had a container at one point that forced me to change the unraid ports. Those do work. Do you have any idea about the lack of container access via ip?

Can't help with that, but someone else may be able to.

Try looking at your router settings.   The new MB NIC will have a new MAC address.  If your router uses the MAC address to set/control the IP address, you have found your problem.  Read the router manual if necessary as every router manufacturer does things a bit different.

Fixed it, ended up being Firefox not having Local Device Access permissions on MacOS. Thanks all!
