"mover start -e" command doesn't seem to be doing anything

Featured Replies

I'm trying to empty disk 6 and ran the following command:

mover start -e disk6 |& logger &

I came back hours later and don't see anything happening. And nothing in the system log. Is it logged somewhere else?

Uninstall the mover tuning plugin first.

Does

mover -e

zero out the drive so that I can shrink the array? Or do I still have to go through that process?
