Cancel Parity

So yesterday I accidentally pulled out the power cord to the server, when I booted up it did a parity check.

Am I able to cancel that and use it as normal?

I have built a new system that I am going to put the usb and the harddrives in. 

So could I do that and then let it do parity check in the new system?
