Docker containers die and WebUI becomes unresponsive.

Featured Replies

My Unraid instance has been dying randomly for the past couple of weeks. Docker containers go down out of nowhere, WebUI becomes mostly unresponsive and ssh works but most of the binaries don't work. I passed a Memtest so i guess it's not ram. A reboot fixes it but not for long.

There's no syslog, see if you can copy that:

cp /var/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt

Unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it doesn't crash like that, start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers.

You can also try moving it to the array to rule out the SSD
