Im new to truenas and trying to connect the truenas smb share to my unraid server, Im having problems using "unassigned.devices" app to see the smb server for some reason

Im new to truenas and trying to connect the truenas smb share to my unraid server, Im having problems using "unassigned.devices" app to see the smb server for some reason

I have made SMB share on truenas that works with my windows devices fine i have no idea why unraid wont see it, i tried just entering the ip of the truenas server into unassigned drives with no joy it woudlt let me click "mount"

Any help would be very appreciated

Describe in much more detail the steps that you are taking and what you are seeing. Screenshots would be extremely helpful...

hi sure here im trying to make the app find the SMB server like it already does my other servers such as my synology SMB nas share, but it doesnt show the TRUENAS server on the list at all for some reason (ive attached photos)

Did you actually enable sharing on the TN server?

You were looking for an NFS server-- not a SMB server! Click here to look for a SMB server:

EDIT: I think this way of offering choices is confusing to the many people!

hi think so this is the first time ive had a TN server so im new to all of this

on the true nas i did the following:

  1. made a storage pool

  1. made a smb data set for my plex folder
