May 20, 201214 yr Very nice and very small indeed.. if you are looking for something small but capable of holding a lot more drives have a look at the Array R2. My mate built his unRAID server into one and it is very easy to move around http://www.fractal-design.com/?view=product∏=42
May 20, 201214 yr That is small. I hate to say it. I would run freeNAS (or similar) on that box for better performance. since it is only 2 laptop drives. I would not worry about the power savings unraid offers. We have an ESXi box at work about the same size with 2 SSD's in it. very .. umm.. cute. For a slightly larger portable server. I would look at this http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20098.msg179258#msg179258 it is on sale for a few more days. It looks like you could get more then the allotted 4 into it with minimal effort.
