Unmountable: wrong or no file system after BTRFS errors on the cache pool

Featured Replies

I have two 2TB NVMe drives in btrfs raid 1 for cache. nvme2n1 and nvme3n1. nvme3n1 was reporting errors and a scrub couldn't fix it. I wanted to remove nvme3n1 from the pool so I stopped the array, removed the pool, added pool back with 1 slot and nvme2n1, but when I go to restart the array, I get:

Cache

INTEL_SSDPEKNU020TZ_BTKA312103AM2P0C - 2 TB (nvme2n1)

33 °C

0.0 B/s

Is there any way to get the array to restart with the supposedly good nvme2n1, or is it also corrupted beyond repair and need to replace and restore from backup?

Thanks in advance

on main click on the pool and then "remove pool"

back on main, create a new pool with the same name and 2 slots

assign both pool device, leave the filesystem set to auto

start the array and post new diags.

Looks like /dev/nvme3n1p1 really is defective and I'll need to replace it.

Don't see anything so far that suggests a device problem; do see filesystem issues. Try scrubbing the posol and post the results from the GUI
