Supported NICs

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to deactivate the on-board NIC of my mainboard Fujitsu D-3644B (PCIe 3.0) and upgrading it to a 10GBit/s-SFP+-NiC. Is there anything to consider ?

Does anyone know if these NICs are (not) supported by unRaid?

NIC with Broadcom chipset

NIC with Intel chipset

NIC with Intel chipset

Another NIC

After installing one of these NICs above I would deactivate the on-board NIC within the BIOS and boot up unRaid. I hope there will be nothing to change, because the newly installed PCIe-NIC will be called „eth0“? So, there should be nothing to reconfigure with the config of unRaid or the docker containers ?

Mellanox and Intel are typically the best supported 10GbE NICs.
