September 5, 2025Sep 5 I can't add a slot. Also, I don't want to lose the current data on the single cache drive - would hate to set all that up again!
September 5, 2025Sep 5 Community Expert You cannot add a slot to an XFS pool; they are single device only. You would need to back up the pool, reformat btrsf or zfs, then move the data back, you can use this for the backup/restore:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/#findComment-511923
September 5, 2025Sep 5 Author I don't have an array.. I just use SMB share on my UNAS ProCan I just copy all the data to a share on my UNAS Pro, create new cache pool and then move it back?
September 5, 2025Sep 5 Author Or even just copy it to the unassigned device, format cache drive as zfs and then move it back. Would be faster.Just need to know if there is any reason that it would not work.
