September 9, 2025Sep 9 I replaced a hard drive in a ZFS mirror and the newly replaced drive has a blue square icon next to it saying it's "new". I read somewhere that means the drive it being rebuilt, but there is no I/O on the array and the output of: zpool status <pool> -v shows the drive simply as "online" like the others. Not sure how to clear it to make it green again and it's been several days. Thanks

September 9, 2025Sep 9 Author Attached as requested. I replaced sde, I'm aware of the issue with sdf, it seems to be something different I'm dealing with.backup-diagnostics-20250909-1232.zip Edited September 9, 2025Sep 9 by tdp252
September 10, 2025Sep 10 Community Expert Reimporting the pool should fix the icon issue:on main click on the first device for that pool and then "remove pool"back on main, create a new pool with the same name and number of slotsassign the pool device(s), any order, leave the filesystem set to autostart the array to import the pool
