October 20, 2025Oct 20 Community Expert Solution Server shutting down by itself is almost always a hardware issue, and not surprisingly, there's nothing relevant logged on the syslog. Make sure this has been taken care of:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/2/#findComment-819173

I will check my ram thought I had disabled the over clocking years ago but I have updated my since then and that may have reeneabled the ram overclocking.

But looking around in the bios. I have an asus rog strix x570 motherboard. Not finding the C-states to make changes to that, so look into that as well.

I have disabled it since its either auto, enabled, or disabled. Also now on the latest bios and the ram is no longer overclocked. So hope this fixes the random shutdowns.
